Orchestra Clinics in Texas

Working with high school orchestras as a clinician is something that Rafael delights in doing on a regular basis. The invitation to spend the day providing feedback and workshops for orchestras in West Texas was given by one of his former students from Costa Rica and now his colleague as the Orchestra Director at the University of Texas – Permian Basin, Dr. Jean Gómez. Rafael had the chance to meet and spend time with several members of the studio faculty at UTPB who also perform as members of the West Texas Symphony in the Midland-Odessa metropolitan area, and looks forward to returning soon.
