National Conservatory of Peru

Accredited for post-secondary studies as the Universidad Nacional de Música, the National Conservatory prepares its students for careers as performers with an emphasis on classical training. Rafael was invited to work with the conservatory Symphony Orchestra in preparation for an upcoming concert with three rehearsals during the month of June 2023. The repertoire for this concert consisted of Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Dvořák Symphony No. 9 “From the New World,” and Henri Casadesus’ Viola Concerto “In the Style of Handel.”
