Conrad Sclar with the National Symphony Orchestra of Cusco, Peru

This was my second concert with this wonderful professional orchestra and it was my pleasure to be able to invite Conrad to perform as the soloist for this concert. Together we performed the Hoffmeister Viola Concert in D Major and “Vocalise” by Sergie Rachmaninoff. The concert kicked off with Beethoven’s overture to Beethoven’s only ballet “The Creatures of Prometheus,” and I had he distinct honor of leading the orchestra in the Cusco premiere of Sergei Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1 in D major, Op. 25, also known as the Classical Symphony.
