Air Force Band of Peru

Technical Sargeant conductors from the Air Force Band of Peru attended a conducting workshop hosted by Pro-Bandas led by Dr. Rodriguez during May and June 2022 in Lima. At the conclusion of this workshop, Rafael received an invitation from the Air Force Band to visit their base “Las Palmas” in Santiago de Surco to attend a rehearsal, work with the band, and provide conducting critique for their enlisted band conductors in a live session with officers present. The high level of trust between Rafael and the conductors was evident throughout this session as well as the mutual respect that he shares with the band, building on a relationship that started with an invitation to conduct the band in concert in 2016.
