Rafael at Augsburg University

April 2018.

Rafael accepted a faculty position at Augsburg University as Director of Orchestra & Jazz last August and has completed his first year of university teaching in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Among his first-year accomplishments were on-campus collaborations with guest artists from Peru, Costa Rica, and Slovenia, and an upcoming tour to Costa Rica with Augsburg Orchestra students to participate in the "Orquesta del Mar" Festival in Puntarenas where he will serve as Music Director.
